Hosea Kutako International Airport

DAY 1 - Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! When you arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport, a shuttle driver from your car hire company will pick you up and take you to town for your vehicle handover. After fueling up and gathering supplies, make your way to your cozy B&B for the night. Take some time to unwind and acclimate before your adventure begins tomorrow!

DAY 2 - Namibgrens

Depart from Windhoek early in the morning to make the most of the day. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes as you drive to Namibgrens.
The area offers breathtaking views of vast, red sand dunes, rugged mountains, and unique rock formations. The contrasting colors and vast open spaces create a dramatic and serene environment.

DAY 3 & 4 - Sossusvlei

Embark on a self-drive adventure to Sossusvlei, where you'll be captivated by Namibia’s ever-changing landscapes and wildlife, from oryx grazing to meerkats darting across the sand. Start day two early to catch the stunning sunrise over the dunes, with Dune 45 and Big Daddy offering panoramic views of the iconic landscape. Explore the ethereal Deadvlei, where ancient camel thorn trees stand in stark contrast to the surreal clay pan, creating unforgettable photographic moments.

DAY 5 & 6 - Swakopmund

DAY 7 & 8 - Damaraland

Today's journey takes you north to Damaraland, where you'll visit Cape Cross Seal Reserve, home to a vast seal colony, and explore ancient landmarks like the White Lady rock painting, Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, Petrified Forest, and Burnt Mountain. Experience Damara culture at the Living Museum. DAY 9 & 10 - Etosha National Park

DAY 11 & 12 - Waterberg

Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of rhinos, buffaloes, and antelopes as you journey through this diverse landscape. Stop at various viewpoints to take in the expansive views and spot wildlife across the horizon. DAY 13 - Return to Windhoek

As your self-drive safari comes to a close, you'll drive from the Waterberg Plateau area back to Windhoek. Be sure to return the vehicle by 16H00 to allow sufficient time for check-in and transfer to the airport. We'll arrange a transfer for you 2 hours before your departure flight to ensure a smooth journey home after your unforgettable Namibian adventure.
