Day 1 - Swellendam, Western Cape

Your 8-Day self-drive adventure starts as soon as you touch Ground at Cape Town International Airport. After rental vehicle collection you will head towards Swellendam, located in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains.

Day 2 - Oudtshoorn, Western Cape

The road takes you to Oudtshoorn today, where you will be staying. Your hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from well-known restaurants such as Jemima's, Bello Cibo, La Dolce Vita, and Black Swan.

Day 3 - Oudtshoorn, Western Cape

We recommend visiting Cango Wildlife Ranch. What to expect when you arrive at the ranch?
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your guide who will inform you of when your tour will start. During your half-an-hour wait you can visit the snake park, lorikeet aviary, wallaby walkabout, kids’ zone or visit any one of our curio shops. You also have the opportunity eat at one of the restaurants.

Day 4 - Knysna, Western Cape

In the heart of the Garden Route lies the picturesque town called Knysna (pronounced nise-na). Nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean, Knysna is filled with history, magic, and adventure. This will be your next destination.

Day 5 - Knysna, Western Cape

Knysna offers crisp fresh air, and fantastic beaches. What better way to enjoy it than to visit one of the many al fresco Markets? You can choose between the Harvest Time Farmers Market, Scarab Village, Wild Oats Community Farmers Market, Thesen Harbour Sunday Market, and the famous Friday Market.
Want to head out to sea? We can book a cruise on the Lagoon. You have catamarans, yachts, speed boats or canoes to choose from.
In the afternoon you can head out for a sun downer boat cruise. Enjoy Oysters, Sparkling Wine & Spectacular Sunsets which makes for the perfect end to the day.

Day 6 - Albertina, Western Cape

Heading back towards Cape Town, spend the night close to Albertina, a quaint village 50 km west of Mossel Bay, located at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, and is fondly referred to as the home of the Aloe.

Day 7 - Hermanus, Western Cape

Today you will make your way to the quaint holiday town of Hermanus located on the southern coast of the Western Cape province.
This town is famous for Southern Right whale watching during the southern winter to spring seasons and is a popular retirement location, too.

Day 8 - Cape Town, South Africa

It is time to head back to Cape Town International Airport, return your rental vehicle and check-in for your onward journey.
