DAY 1 - Windhoek

The adventure begins as soon as you touch ground at Hosea Kutako International Airport. Our friendly shuttle driver will be waiting for you at the arrival gates. Catch your first glimpses of Windhoek through the car window as we transport you directly to the car hire depot to get your vehicle. You will be camping, so you can use the afternoon to stock up on supplies, in order to get an early start, the next day. Once you have all the necessities, head to the B&B to freshen up and unwind. You have the option of spending the rest of the day, lounging by the hotel pool and adjusting to the city, but if you are a culture vulture like us, we suggest an added option of a guided Windhoek City and Township Tour. Learn about the city’s rich heritage through the eyes of our expert guide and taste some delicious local cuisine.

DAY 2 & 3 - Etosha National Park

Hit the open road towards the southern side of Etosha National Park, where you can choose to either pre-book guided game drives from the lodges or explore the park independently on a self-drive adventure. Spend the full day game-driving, stopping at various watering holes to observe a diverse range of animals quenching their thirst. These watering holes provide perfect photo opportunities, so don’t forget your camera! Expect to spot lions, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, and more as you connect with the wild side of the park.

DAY 4 & 5 - Mahango Game Reserve

Start early for a longer drive today as you head to accommodation near two stunning national parks: Mahango and Bwabwata. The area is rich in wildlife, with guided game drives available at most lodges if you'd prefer to relax and let someone else do the driving. Expect to see a variety of antelope species, including rarer ones like the roan and sable antelope, as well as rhinoceros and elephants. You’ll have two days to explore and unwind in the bushveld.
The following day, you get to leisurely explore the area, with an early evening boat cruise to round off your day.

DAY 6 - Caprivi Strip

The Caprivi Strip is a long and narrow strip of land along the Okavango. The strip protrudes eastward for about 450 km from the North-Eastern corner of Namibia and is boarded by, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Angola. 6 tribes call this area home so to say it is diverse may be an understatement. The diversity, prolific birdlife and animal life make the strip a highlight for many travellers. Enjoy an afternoon river cruise on day 7 and see how many animals you can spot along the shoreline.

DAY 7 & 8 - Chobe River Front

Today, journey to Chobe National Park in northern Botswana, home to one of Africa's largest concentrations of game. The park, Botswana's first national park, is the third-largest in the country and offers exceptional biological diversity. It’s famous for spectacular game-viewing opportunities, where you might spot the Big 5. Choose from self-drive or guided game drives, or take a boat cruise for a different perspective of the wildlife.
On Day 2, you have the freedom to relax or explore the park further with a self-drive into Chobe or opt for a guided game drive or boat cruise to mix things up.

DAY 9 - Victoria Falls

Time to say goodbye to your trusty 4×4 vehicle as it is collected from the lodge. A transfer will be ready at 10H00 to take you to Victoria Falls. Spend the day exploring the waterfalls and perhaps join in on one of the many activities the area has to offer, such as scenic flights, bungee jumping, elephant-back rides to name just a few. The best time to view the falls is in the late afternoon.

DAY 10 - Flight to Tanzania

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania, via OR Tambo International Airport in South Africa. DAY 12 - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll leave early for Tarangire National Park, the third largest in Tanzania. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic Baobab trees. After your evening game drive, return to Panorama campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 13 - Serengeti National Park

Breakfast will be served at 06:00. You'll be picked up from the camp at 07:00 and drive to the Serengeti National Park, with a packed picnic lunch and game drives along the way via the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. It’s one of the most renowned national parks, famous for its magnificent lions and the great migration. Afterward, you’ll head to Seronera campsite.

DAY 14 - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a game drive in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park, spanning nearly 6,000 square miles of grasslands, savannas, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and riverine forests. These rivers serve as vital water sources and are prime spots for wildlife viewing. Beyond the famous wildebeest and zebra migration, the Serengeti is renowned for its big predators, including cheetahs, leopards, large lion prides, and hyena clans. Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Campsite.

DAY 15 - Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early morning breakfast, you'll embark on a game drive. Afterward, return to the campsite for a hot lunch. Our driver and chef will load everything onto the safari jeep, and you'll continue with game viewing en route from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You'll arrive at Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening, where you'll spend the night on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

DAY 16 - Lake Manyara

We'll start the day early at 07:00 with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, lasting 5-6 hours, and enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. With its 2000 ft. high walls, the crater sees very few animals migrating in and out, so you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers, using his expertise to locate hidden animals. After thoroughly exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, we'll head to Fanaka Campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 17 - Return to Arusha

Today we'll head to Lake Manyara. On the lakeshore, you'll likely see elephants, hippos, buffalo, guenons, banded mongooses, and various types of gazelles and antelopes. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, often spotted napping in the tree canopies or escaping the heat on the ground. After observing the wildlife and exploring the park, we'll depart in the afternoon and travel to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 18 - Arusha National park

Depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, just a 40-minute drive from town. The park offers an impressive variety of fauna and flora. Hollywood chose this region to film “Hatari,” starring Hardy Kruger and John Wayne. Your day trip includes a visit to Ngurdoto Crater, known as the “Little Ngorongoro.” Year-round, you can see buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and various bird species. Few parks in Tanzania offer this opportunity, so don’t miss it. Later, return to Arusha in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 19 - Arusha to Kilimanjaro & Mandara Hut

On the first day, you'll drive about 2 hours through the semi-tropical foothills of Kilimanjaro to the Marangu area on the mountain’s southeastern side. As you drive, you'll often catch stunning views of the snow-capped peak. Upon arrival at Marangu gate, you'll meet your team of guides and porters, gather any last-minute supplies, and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. From the gate, it's a four to five-hour walk through coffee plantations and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut.

DAY 20 - Drop you off to Kilimanjaro Airport /Arusha Airport

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your homeward journey.
