DAY 1 - Windhoek

Welcome to Hosea Kutako International Airport, the starting point for your Namibian Self-Drive Adventure. Your transfer shuttle awaits you. If time allows, consider joining a Windhoek City and Township Tour. Alternatively, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the hotel pool and recovering from your flight.

DAY 2 & 3 - Sossusvlei

Today, head to Swakopmund, a coastal town celebrated for its German colonial charm and scenic streets. Take time to explore its fascinating museums, enjoy a leisurely beach stroll, or simply unwind in the town's tranquil atmosphere. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, Swakopmund offers the best of both worlds.

On the following day, tailor your experience with a choice of activities. For a more relaxed pace, enjoy a romantic catamaran cruise with dolphins or indulge in thrilling dune boarding and quad biking. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, try tandem skydiving or explore the breathtaking Sandwich Harbour. Be sure to visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony and browse the Karakul Weavers for unique souvenirs.

DAY 4 - Swakopmund

Head to the small, sleepy town of Swakopmund, known for its rich German architecture and history. This town offers various activities and excursions. Enjoy romantic catamaran dolphin cruises or adrenaline-filled dune boarding and quad biking. Try tandem skydiving or join a full day exploring Sandwich Harbour and the surrounding areas. Visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony or explore Swakopmund on foot. We also recommend visiting the Karakul Weavers, with plenty of souvenir shops to choose from.

DAY 5 - Southern Damaraland

Your self-drive safari continues from Swakopmund to Southern Damaraland, where you'll encounter unique geological formations, ancient rock engravings, and diverse wildlife. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Twyfelfontein to see ancient rock art, explore Brandberg Mountain for its famous White Lady rock painting, and marvel at the Petrified Forest. DAY 6 - Grootberg Plateau

DAY 7 & 8 - Etosha National Park

Today, make your way to Etosha National Park, a wildlife sanctuary where you can spot four of the Big Five—elephants, rhinos, leopards, and lions. The park is meticulously maintained, and its numerous waterholes provide excellent opportunities for game viewing and photography.

On day two, spend the day exploring the park with thrilling game drives, pausing at different watering holes to watch herds of animals quenching their thirst. Keep your eyes peeled for the rare sight of a white or black rhinoceros—an unforgettable moment for any photographer.

DAY 9 - Waterberg

Today, head to the Waterberg Plateau, a conservancy area nestled between Etosha National Park and Windhoek. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, it’s a popular hiking destination, offering a wealth of wildlife and diverse bird life.

DAY 10 - Return to Windhoek

Your adventure ends today. Head back to the capital and return your rental vehicle no later than 16H00. After the vehicle has been check-in, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
