DAY 1 - Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! Upon arriving at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you'll be greeted by a shuttle driver from your car hire company, who will transfer you to town for your vehicle pickup. After fueling up and gathering any necessary supplies, settle into your comfortable B&B for the night. Take this opportunity to relax and adjust before your exciting adventure kicks off tomorrow!

DAY 2 & 3 - Brandberg

Embark on a scenic self-drive journey from Windhoek to Brandberg, traversing diverse landscapes, from the highlands to Damaraland’s rugged terrain. As you approach Brandberg, enjoy dramatic vistas, unique rock formations, and glimpses of wildlife. Explore ancient San rock art, including the White Lady painting, hike through desert landscapes, and engage with the local Damara culture for a deeper connection to Namibia's heritage.

DAY 4 & 5 - Palmwag

On your journey from Brandberg to Palmwag, enjoy Namibia's rugged beauty, from expansive deserts to rocky outcrops and dramatic mountains. As you approach Palmwag, spot desert-adapted wildlife and explore the Huab River’s stunning landscapes. DAY 6 & 7 - Opuwo

Traveling from Palmwag to Opuwo, you'll experience a dramatic landscape shift from desert terrain to arid plains, rocky outcrops, and lush vegetation, with mountainous views as you approach Opuwo. In Opuwo, engage with the vibrant local culture and visit the northern Kunene region to interact with indigenous communities like the Himba people. DAY 8 - Kunene

In the Kunene region, explore cultural tours with the Himba people, guided Namib Desert tours, serene Kunene River boat cruises, tiger fishing, wildlife viewing, hikes, and scenic drives, all set against stunning landscapes.

DAY 9 - Opuwo

Returning to Opuwo, relax in a comfortable lodge, explore the local market, and experience the town’s blend of tradition and modernity before continuing your safari or heading home.

DAY 10 & 11 - Grootberg

Continuing your safari from Opuwo to Grootberg, enjoy dramatic landscapes of arid deserts and mountains. In Grootberg, explore the rugged terrain on nature walks, scenic drives, and wildlife sightings, including oryx, springbok, and desert-adapted elephants.

DAY 12 & 13 - Etosha

From Grootberg Plateau to Etosha National Park, embark on exhilarating game drives to spot elephants, lions, and more. Spend your day at watering holes, watching diverse wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, and springbok.

DAY 14 - Return to Windhoek

As your self-drive safari concludes, you'll drive from Etosha back to Windhoek. Make sure to return the vehicle by 16H00 to allow time for check-in and your transfer to the airport. We'll organize your transfer 2 hours before your departure flight, ensuring a smooth end to your memorable Namibian adventure.

In Botswana, the local currency is the Botswana Pula (BWP), though South African Rand may be accepted in some places.

In Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), the Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL) is used, but US Dollars, South African Rand, and other currencies are commonly accepted, especially in tourist areas.

Travel Requirements for Adults with Children Under 18

Adults travelling with children under 18 must provide the child’s original Birth Certificate and a consent form if only one parent is accompanying the child. Failure to present these documents may result in denied entry.
