DAY 1 - Windhoek

Your Namibian journey begins at Hosea Kutako International Airport, where a shuttle will transport you to the car hire depot. Pick up your vehicle and head to your hotel to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2 & 3 - Sossusvlei

Embark on an unforgettable adventure into the world's oldest desert. After stocking up on essentials, enjoy two nights camping within Namib-Naukluft National Park, allowing you to experience the breathtaking beauty of Sossusvlei at both sunrise and sunset. Marvel at the vivid transformation of the towering red dunes, a mesmerizing natural spectacle that captures the essence of the Namib Desert.

DAY 4 & 5 - Swakopmund

Today, head towards Swakopmund, stopping at the remote oasis of Solitaire for a peaceful break. DAY 6 - Twyfelfontein

DAY 9 & 10 - Etosha West

Your self-drive journey from Opuwo to Etosha’s western borders offers a thrilling safari, where you’ll spot giraffes and zebras amidst diverse landscapes. Upon entering Etosha, the salt pans unfold a striking scene, home to elephants, lions, and other iconic wildlife. Game drives through the park bring you up close to a variety of animals, from rhinos to springbok, offering an unforgettable safari experience.

DAY 11 & 12 - Erindi Game Reserve

Erindi Private Game Reserve, a 71,000-hectare sanctuary, offers an unforgettable safari with encounters of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos, alongside the rare African Wild Dog. The reserve's diverse wildlife, from giraffes to hippos, showcases Namibia’s untamed beauty, providing a truly immersive experience in Africa’s wilderness.

DAY 13 - Return to Windhoek

Today, drive back to Windhoek and return your rental vehicle to the depot by 16:00. Afterward, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Spend your final evening in Windhoek enjoying a delicious dinner, savoring the local flavours and reflecting on your unforgettable journey.

DAY 14 - End of Tour

The car hire company's friendly shuttle driver will pick you up from the hotel three hours before your departure flight. The drive to the airport takes approximately 45 minutes, and we recommend checking in at least two hours prior to your flight's departure.

Can I visit Erindi before mid-2026?

While the lodge is being renovated, the reserve itself is not accessible to visitors. It will reopen to guests in mid-2026 with enhanced facilities and accommodations.

Can I add more guided game drives to my stay?

Sure thing! All lodges offer guided game drives, usually in the morning, afternoon, or as a sundowner. We can easily arrange additional drives to ensure you get the most out of your safari experience. Just let us know!

In Namibia, the official currency is the Namibian Dollar (NAD), which is pegged to the South African Rand (ZAR), and the Rand is also widely accepted.

In Botswana, the local currency is the Botswana Pula (BWP), though South African Rand may be accepted in some places.

In Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), the Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL) is used, but US Dollars, South African Rand, and other currencies are commonly accepted, especially in tourist areas.

In South Africa, the official currency is the South African Rand (ZAR). It is widely accepted across the country and can also be used in Namibia, where the Namibian Dollar (NAD) is pegged to it.

Travel Requirements for Adults with Children Under 18

Adults travelling with children under 18 must provide the child’s original Birth Certificate and a consent form if only one parent is accompanying the child. Failure to present these documents may result in denied entry.

Unfortunately, we do not offer visa application services. Whether you require a visa depends on your nationality and your destination. If your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you’re visiting, you will need to apply for a visa before your departure. Additionally, some countries may require an invitation letter for the Namibian Embassy to process a tourist visa. If needed, guests can contact us for assistance with obtaining the invitation letter.
