Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, a shuttle will transfer you to town for your vehicle handover. After refueling and stocking up on supplies, head to your B&B to relax before your adventure starts tomorrow.

DAY 2 & 3 - Kalahari

our adventure begins as you leave Windhoek for the Kalahari, where red dunes, vast open spaces, and unique wildlife set the scene. Encounter oryx, springbok, and possibly cheetah, and enjoy a sundowner on the dunes to kick off your self-drive safari. During your stay, take a guided nature walk, go on a game drive, and spot meerkats and other desert animals. Experience a sunset drive, immerse in San culture, and finish with stargazing under the stunning Kalahari skies.

DAY 4 & 5 - Fish River Canyon

Next, your self-drive safari takes you from the tranquil Kalahari to the impressive Fish River Canyon, where rugged terrain and vast open spaces unfold. Upon arrival, explore one of the world’s largest canyons, stretching 160 kilometers and plunging 550 meters deep. Hike the Rim Trail for breathtaking views or visit sunset viewpoints to see the canyon's colors transform. On day two, enjoy a sunrise hike, take in panoramic vistas, and unwind at Ai-Ais Hot Springs Resort. Finish the day with a sunset hike, balancing adventure and relaxation perfectly.

DAY 6 - Aus

Your journey continues from Fish River Canyon to Aus, where the landscape transitions from rugged canyons to the vast Namib Desert. In Aus, explore historical sites and witness the famous desert horses at the Garub waterhole. These resilient creatures have adapted to the harsh environment and roam freely. Aus offers comfortable accommodations, scenic hiking trails with panoramic desert views, and historical remnants from World War I, blending natural beauty with cultural history for a memorable experience.

DAY 7 & 8 - Lüderitz

Next, drive from Aus to Lüderitz, a coastal town known for its German colonial architecture and scenic harbor. En route, visit Kolmanskop, an abandoned diamond town now claimed by the desert. In Lüderitz, explore quaint streets, visit Felsenkirche, and enjoy fresh seafood. For stunning ocean views, head to Diaz Point. Start your next day with a boat trip to see penguins and, if in season, southern right whales. Explore Lüderitz Museum, take a coastal drive, and return to Kolmanskop for a unique look at its ghostly remains. This leg combines coastal beauty, wildlife, and history.

DAY 9 - Tiras Mountains

Today, you’ll drive from Lüderitz to the Tiras Mountains, transitioning from coastal dunes to rugged mountain terrain. The Tiras Mountains, with their striking rock formations and varied hues, offer a remote escape. Enjoy the drive and take in the unique beauty of this picturesque region.

DAY 10 & 11 - Sossusvlei

After breakfast, you will head to Sossusvlei. As you drive through Namibia’s diverse landscapes, keep an eye out for oryx and meerkats. Stop to photograph the rugged mountains, wide plains, and towering dunes. Enjoy the desert’s calm beauty as you make your way to Sossusvlei and its famous red dunes.

DAY 12 & 13 - Swakopmund

En route to Swakopmund, stop at Solitaire, a vital rest stop between Sossusvlei and Walvis Bay. Here, you’ll find fuel, a bakery, and a general store—don’t miss the famous Apfel Strudel. Refresh before continuing through Namibia’s stunning landscapes.

In Swakopmund, adventure awaits! Thrill-seekers can sand-board or quad bike across the desert, while those seeking a slower pace can stroll along the scenic promenade. Enjoy a boat tour to spot seals and dolphins or explore the haunting shipwrecks of the Skeleton Coast. Swakopmund has something for everyone.
