What is the best time of year to visit Southern Africa for a safari?

The best time for a safari in Africa depends on the region, but generally, the dry season (from June to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing. For specific destinations, such as the Okavango Delta or the Serengeti, the timing of migration or seasonal flooding can offer unique experiences as well.
