Game parks are not fenced off, allowing wildlife such as lions, spotted hyenas, and elephants to move freely through camps. Always stay within your campsite, especially at night, and avoid strolling around. Be well-prepared with enough supplies, as there are no nearby shops or fuel stations. Avoid going to the bathroom at night unless it’s an emergency, and if so, stay close to your vehicle. Clean up thoroughly after cooking and eating, keeping all food stored away to prevent attracting animals. Never feed the wildlife, as this can be dangerous for both you and the animals, potentially leading to them being put down. Lastly, secure all belongings at night, as hyenas are known to take and destroy items left outside.
