High travel season in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa runs from July until December. The low travel season runs from January until April. Pre-travel season is in May. Please keep in mind, when you plan on travelling during July, August, September, October and November, bookings need to be made at least a year in advance, as this is the busiest time of the year and most good quality accommodations as well as campsites get fully booked a year in advance.
